Specialty Product Sales, Inc. is all about creating top-notch products for crafters, sewists, costume makers, quilters, and hobby enthusiasts. Founder, Brint Fanizza, is the mastermind behind it all.

Brint has had a pretty interesting journey in business. It started in 1998 when he got a chance to buy a company that made scissors and sewing notions. But here's the twist: he thought he was getting a company that made the products themselves, but it turned out they were resellers of products. And to be honest, the product wasn't great back then.

Famoré Cutlery, our house brand, got its big break at the Original Sewing and Quilt Expo in Duluth, Georgia. Brint got lucky and ended up being next to some big names in the sewing world. He learned a lot from these pros, and that's how Famoré Cutlery became the quality brand it is known as today.

In 2023, SPS, Inc. started the process to patent a ball-bearing mechanism in a rotary handle. So you could say, we aren’t reinventing the wheel, just the way it rolls.

Now, Brint and Specialty Product Sales, Inc. manufacture for many well known brands, from big box retailers to small independent shops, both in the US and abroad.
